We were very upset but decided to move forward because we were in love with the house/lot that we had chosen and were trying to start a family. We have recently found out that our salesman was fired for calling the owner of Megatel and letting an upset customer speak to him. Not only did our house get ripped away from us but we wasted three months waiting on this company to do what they said they would. Please if you value your money and your sanity, DO NOT BUILD WITH MEGATEL. It was a great experience working with Megatel Homes. They built a beautiful three-bedroom house for us, using high-quality materials and deluxe finishes. Thanks to their professional and diligent team, the project ran smoothly from beginning to end.
Please believe me and the other reviews you have read and run for the hills. I have built two new homes prior to Megatel and never had such a horrific experience. Our sales consultant Curt is outright rude, disrespectful and uses intimidation tactics to get away with not doing things that were promised and officially documented.
Megatel is the worst company that I have ever worked with. This is the first bad review that I’ve ever left for a company but I truly want to save others the heartbreak of working with them. This company has no integrity, does not respect their customers, only cares about money, and should be ashamed of themselves. My husband and I moved to Texas to buy our first house and start a family.
